Hi all!

I am a 2014 batch but i want to be clarified on an issue.

I submitted my application online on the 24th of January 2014.

I have been interviewed both my sponsor on the 13 of January 2015. but since then i have not heard from them and my status still remain "Assessment in Process" I wrote them to know why the delay and they said that my application is still in process after which they will assign it for verification process. My question is what do they mean by assigning it for verification.

Thank you.

Hi friend
i am August 2013 applicant and my application assessment pending since 2014. I email them in 14 days ago and they replied your application in process.

This is GREAT news and gives all of us waiting a lot of hope ;D

From what country are you, how much was your self assessment points and what is your intended occupation my friend?

Hi Druce, I'm from El Salvador. Is a little country located in Central America, near Mexico. At this moment, I don't remember how much was my assessment points but there was enough to submit my application. :D
I'm a Construction Project Manager.

Hello my friends, I have some questions:
As everybody knows at this time, mpnp asked to update financial info, also called my sponsor for interview and finally after almost two years my status has changed to assessment in process, witch makes me happy, but in order to make my self clear and be prepared, I want to know if it is mandatory that after they interview my sponsor, they will call me for an interview too?. I never read any of this until today.
Does anyone can tell me? , I will appreciate.

I asked this because in my country there's not a Canadian Embassy, the nearest is in Mexico. Or they call from Winnipeg? .

Congratulations, this gives all of us great hope! It is not mandatory for the MPNP to interview the applicant. I have read in several cases that they do interview the applicant as well as the sponsor. I have also read about a few cases where they interviewed the employer of the applicant. It varies from case to case though. In most applications they only interview sponsor.

Oh yes, they only do these interviews telephonic from their offices in Winnipeg. I have never read about an applicant or sponsor that has been interviewed in person by an MPNP officer.

Hope this information helps or at least settles your nerves.

Only a pleasure my friend ;)

Keep calm and relaxed. From what I have read the interviews are very basic and simple questions that they ask. Dont be worried, you will do GREAT!

Hi,

I have a question. My LOA is about to expire this coming June, unfortunately because of personal reason I dont have much time to gather all the documents.. Whwere can I send an email to request for extension of approval letter. Is there a possibility that they will grant my request? If so, how long will I receive it? Im from Philippines. Thanks in advance. I really need your help

My dear friend,

Please update your all documents within time limit. MPNP can not accept any request or any extension.

So, I request you to please send your documents within timeline.

Thanks

Well Its quite heart breaking that you are not able to gather your documents before the expiry of the LOA.

The things you can try on.. send them an email explaining your genuine approach for gathering the required documents, write them in a positive and effective manner showing them your valuabily. Explain them your hardcore efforts for gathering the documents and elaborate why cant you get them in a given timeframe.

You are a valuable nominee for them, thats why they nominated you and I am sure they dont want to drop an aspirant in a midway... if this is not against their policy... but certainly you can try the things.

Try this and be positive... lets hope for the best.. rest is in the hand of the creator
