Should I inform CIC...? if yes, should I send them simple email with old and new address or send this info on company letterhead?? Old letter heads are already in my file at cic... plz help... thanks and God bless all...

Hello Gucci,

Your son's status has no negative implication on your application. I would say its even a plus cos you have a family member on ground,shows you have a stronger ties to MB.
Your son is an undergraduate and cannot sponsor anyone not until he becomes a PR holder.If you inform MB officer it has no implication either way.

You can take advantage of EE while your first application is still on.

Hi Everyone,

Happy new year y'all.
I took a long break from the forum. I was getting frustrated.

I also asked some questions, and no one seemed to have the answers...

Let me ask them again, just in case.

1. My son recently moved to Manitoba in Dec 2014 and is currently in school in Manitoba. What are the likely implications of this to my application? I submitted my MPNP application in Feb 2013 and got an acknowledgement of receipt, then nothing.
2. How do I communicate the change to MPNP? My application is General stream, paper based.
3. Recently, in my frustration, I have been thinking of submitting a skilled labour application (to take advantage of the express entry); what are your thoughts please?

From what I have read, there is no definite timeline on this. Some applicants have gone to assessment pending June 2013 and still no change since then. Other applications changed to assessment pending in February 2014 and a couple of weeks after that changed to assessment complete, couple of weeks after that they had AOR.

Anyone else has a better answer or understanding of this - any replies will be highly appreciated!

Hi Guys I am preparing my docs to CIC but I have some questions... As I waiting for mpnp result my husband got a good offer in Dubai and he grab it the reasons are
1. They offered him good salary
2. It is a family status that he can bring his family with free accommodation, medical insurance for him and for us..
3. Free study for all dependent children until age of 18...
4. Free tickets for vacation yearly for the whole family...

My questions are...
1. Can I still change our address since my husband already working in Dubai since Sept. 2014 Before I receive my LOA last Nov. 2014?
2. Can I also change my address and my Dependent address because we are moving to Dubai this coming Feb 2015?
3.Do I need to get NBI here in the Phil or should I get Police Clearance in Dubai for me and for my husband?
4. Is it ok if my work here in the Phil is only until Feb. I have to quit for my job since we are moving next month,And submit my Cert of employment dated Oct 2011- Feb 2015? Do you think guys it that I will affect my CIC application if I do this?
5. Can I submit my CIC application package from Dubai to NOVA Scotia?


PLEASE HELP ME GUYS THIS IS REALLY CONFUSING ME... REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR RESPONSE IF ANYONE HAS AN IDEA ABOUT THIS KIND OF SITUATION... Thank you and have a nice day to all...

I doubt if Clarence's sponsor has been interviewed. I know a few members that their status is still "Assessment pending" since 2013 and some "In process" since May 2014, their sponsors have been interviewed but no LOA yet. Most of them are discouraged seeing those that applied after them being Nominated.

@ Yommyatos, I know how they feel. The thing keeps me awake at night sometimes.
