Dear donot worry. They always mention this. Application Received-----Medical results have been received------In process------ Rest I do not know. Now after some time they will start processing and ask you send RPRF Passport etc.

Today I got email from NDVO, after 20 days of getting UCI number, stated following -

We have received your application for permanent residence in Canada and have created a file

with the file number indicated above. Please quote this file number in all future correspondence

with our office.

You will hear from us regarding the results of the evaluation of your application within 6 months.

Please do not contact us before six months have passed since you received this letter. Due to

the high volume of inquiries received in this office, we will not be able respond to inquiries sent

within six months.

Hope they will not drag it forever... May God bless us...

Just a question: I scanned in all of my original documents without having any of them certified by a police office / lawyer / legal person etc. Should I have done this? All my documents were scans of the original in color. If this has to be done I can probably still do this as my application still shows "received" and I can update this online - what are your thoughts and what have you guys done? Do you think this will affect my case in any way ?

Does MPNP accept an update to settlement part2?

I found an error in my settlement plan part2 section B when my supporter showed me his part2 submission yesterday.

In the section B of part2, he missed one letter for my given name when handwriting the applicant name. but he has received the acknowledge after he sent the part2 by email in August, 2014.

I am an applicant in July,2014 and the status is Received. Is it necessary to correct the handwrinting error by re-send the settlement part2? Does the MPNP accept the update?

It is really a headache case for me , look forward to your feedback, thank you.

for me, I just notarized those translation documents. other English documents keep original. I think the 'Received' status means MPNP pre-accessed your submission and accepted them.
