I'm still hanging though, coz my ECAS status says, "Application Received", and when i clicked "Application Received" to see further details, it shows that i'm on number 2, stating that they received my medicals (Number 1 says that they received my application). This is all that is said, and it does not say that my application's "In Process"... I wonder if this means that they haven't processed my application yet..

Hi i want to apply for MPNP, my distant relative is from winnipeg.
i have senior secondary education, and 1 year diploma (it includes 6 months training in Accounts and 6 months in Computer applications) from ISO 9001: 2008 certified education center, i m working as an accountant from last 4+ years. my wife is also with same qualification and experience of one year as an accountant. i have sufficient funds. do you people think than i can successfully got PR through Manitoba PNP, i have one 5 year old son.

please advise. i m planning to apply in January 2015.

Hi Suryasonu, i believe you're qualified as Provincial Nominee in Manitoba (MPNP) esp so that you can demonstrate a strong connection with your relative in Winnipeg.

Dear donot worry. They always mention this. Application Received-----Medical results have been received------In process------ Rest I do not know. Now after some time they will start processing and ask you send RPRF Passport etc.

Everything is in order.

Today I got email from NDVO, after 20 days of getting UCI number, stated following -

We have received your application for permanent residence in Canada and have created a file

with the file number indicated above. Please quote this file number in all future correspondence

with our office.

You will hear from us regarding the results of the evaluation of your application within 6 months.

Please do not contact us before six months have passed since you received this letter. Due to

the high volume of inquiries received in this office, we will not be able respond to inquiries sent

within six months.

Hope they will not drag it forever... May God bless us...

The waiting can't be tiring and disturbing anymore as I have already waited for 10 months for the status to change from "Received" to "Assessment Pending", but at least I know I am moving up the ladder.

Besides, I have learnt to cast my cares upon Him, for He cares for me. He will perfect it at His own time and everything shall then end in praise.
