Hey congrats, may i ask if u wont mind, what question they asked ? And how long ur status been pending for ?
My status is been pending since 9th july 2014... Still no interview yet

questions like how do you know him, how can you help him, does he have relatives in canada. My file was assessment pending for 5 months

I am still waiting oooo (since March 2013), paper stream.

But I need to clarify something please.

My son is moving to Manitoba in January (by God's Grace) with a study permit. I know I have to declare this information, but I would like to know the following before I do:
1. How does that affect my application?
2. How do I notify them (when I have verified the consequences)?

I would also like to find out the best way of finding this out formally, without giving away my details. I have called them but was put on hold "forever", my sponsor also called on my behalf too and was put on hold too.

Hey Fellow members,

Do we have any December 2013 applicants whose status has changed from Assessment Pending to Assessment in Process or Assessment Complete? How does the "Express Entry" procedure to be implemented in January 2015 impact those of us who will not have received LOA by January 2015? I would welcome any views from all of you on this matter.

Hi, when I read the following i came to the conclusion that PNP programs will still be ongoing and will not close down or affect applicants who have allready applied or am I mistaken?

Step 2) Citizenship and Immigration Canada will invite certain candidates to apply for permanent residence and process their electronic applications within six months.

Candidates will receive an Invitation to Apply for permanent residence if they rank among the top in the pool, based on their skills and experience. Candidates who have a valid job offer from a Canadian employer (subject to the Labour Market Impact Assessment process in place at that time) or have been nominated by a province or territory will be given high scores in the ranking system.

Candidates will have 60 days to submit an electronic application for permanent residence through one of the following programs:

Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP);
Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP);
Canadian Experience Class (CEC); or,
A portion of the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

My status is also assessment pending since 4 month and m still waiting for sponsor interview. ...

I feel that Express Entry program will positively affecting to PNP Applicant as they stated that they will fast track such application who has already job or had been nominated by Province so fingure cross for such a great program gonna launch by CIC in January next year.
