We have the option to pay rprf fees upon cic apps submission. Some seniors recommend to pay it altogether to decrease the waiting process bec they have noticed it is much faster. Hth

Or CIC can put some embargo or can cancel application.

Well it is still detrimental with the cic process, it is written in the LOA that even if we are nominated by a certain province, the federal or rather CIC has the final say regarding our applications. Usually they focus more on criminality check, consistency of the apps or truthfulness of the applicant and the medicals of course.
You can see in each visa office, the approval rate of each country.

As for the payment, it is our own discretion to follow others advice or not. Aside from the faster processing times of other forum mates, my rationale for paying rprf at once is that it is quite easier to pay using credit card, no hassle of going to the bank. If u use managers check or bank draft, it will take time for the bank to encash it for a certain agency requesting it because they have processing times so as they call it. Nevertheless, it is also written at cic website that if the papers we submitted will not be processed for some reason, they will refund our fees.

cic can still disapprove the application. i have read from the other thread that cic disapproved the application due to low ielts result.

hi i've checked my uncle's cic package and it was received today, sept 11 2014,
he sent the package to cio on sept 2 thru lbc. he paid pf and rprf using my cc online.
looking at the timeline, it takes 2months to get an aor in average.

hope everyone are all patient with this long wAit! i've experienced that too, and it all pays off at the end. )

Again i received the email from Manitoba Immigration department that -

Please be advised that your application is still on queue for assessment, a letter will be mailed to you once a decision has been made.

what does it mean ?

i want to know that on which stage my application process is going on.

please reply must, worried because i am june 2013 applicant (Mail Application Submission not online application)
