Something that don't have direct ties with the MPNP forum but good to know. Jason Kenney's administration has served a moratorium that came in force couple of days ago on the Food Sector in Canada over the latest scam on TFW visas. Hence some 250k TFW visas being issued on a yearly basis will see a significant drop. JK admin has also told the press that TFW submitted/in-process visas and any future submission affiliated to the Food Sector will be suspended and not be processed by the CIC. So if any of you got friends/families applied under the TFW scheme in the food sector, then I'm afraid this is bad news! (source: winnipeg free press).

Hi. Im Tuhin and it is my first post.

I have my brother who lives in Manitoba, Canada. He is Citizen. I have filled up MPNP electronic form expect one thing. And that is "Settlement page 2". In this page 2, it is says What I will do if my Intended occupation is Regulated in Manitoba? How to know whether my profession is regulated or not?

I have read the following article from this forum. But still I could not help myself. Now please help me to find whether my intended profession is regulated or not (I am junior account in a company). Also tell me from where i can know what to do if my intended occupation is regulated(I mean how to get license, certification).

Thank you.

Don't need to push the panic button. Some waited for weeks to months to change the status to "Medical Received" so I don't think you need to worry.

Hi 02clar3nc325,

My medical status did not updated yet.
Could you please advise me on this
