Have some queries ..
1. Its been 6 months now but have not heard anything from immigration . why there nomination process is so slow , is there any specific reason for this.
2. My husband is a main applicant and his ILETS has expired in November 2013. does he needs to give ILETS exam again for the application under CIC.

I'm excited to inform you all that we have received our LOA today. We.recieved 2 letters and 1 flyer. It was so strange only that it was sent to us and not my supporter. Though we have mentioned that it should be addressed to her.
Anyway, I'm so happy. Now, i have a question, the ielts was expired last 24 April, do I need to take another ielts?
Also, in d letter it was stated to visit immigratemanitoba.com/apply-to-cic-for-permanent-resident-visa/ unfortunately, we are not able to open it and there was an error message.
Another question is, which visa office we should used? We are currently in Dubai but we ate planning to go home for good next year. Shall I pass our documents to CEM?

Congratulations on your LOA. On the IELTS, I think you should re-take IELTS examination. IELTS is a requirement after nomination to CIC, CIO Nova Scotia for the Submission of the PNP application. If at the time of submission your certificate (IELTS) is not valid, then it could affect your CIC application. Remember, Manitoba does not grant Visa, CIC does.

I received my AOR from CIC. As I read from others' AOR, the content of the email said that application will be forwarded to CEM for further processing but my email does not say it. The email only says that "YOUR APPLICATION HAS NOW BEEN PLACED INTO PROCESSING. " Is it the same?. There is no instruction whatsoever.

I hope someone can enlighten me. Thanks

I am in the process of looking for work myself. That is why my blog still doesn't have any postings regarding it. I will try my level best to write something about life here in Manitoba, job search and all.
