That's a very good question. HEPA test cost me 1750 pesos. Probably women are not required to take that test. Just bring extra money to make sure if ever they require you some other tests. i even told them that the pierce in my ear has been close for over 6 years now and I had my HEPA test which was negative before. Anyway, they still require me to pay for it..

Thanks.

I just wonder how much extra one would bring. I don't like carrying a lot of cash. They should start accepting credit cards. We are after all in the 21st century.

Hi All,

I need some help guys, I've submitted my online application last October 25, 2013 and received my file number October 26, 2013 however up until today there is no email for SP2 from my Manitoba Supporter. Based on the trackings here some of you receive email request for SP2 just days or weeks. Any idea how long they ask for SP2? It is alright if I email them regarding the status of my application? and please kindly tell me what email address I will use in asking them for the status of my online application? Thank you in advance!

Did you apply online? What I know is, your supporter will be given 30 days to submit his/her SP2 along with his/her identification. An email will be prompted as soon as you sent you online application.

If they will ask you to take an extra lab test and if you can do it outside their facility you can use your credit card. Just like in the case of my husband we had the add'l lab test (he is diabetic)at st lukes hospital and we don't have to leave the bulding since it is just on the other side and we paid using credit.

Re: MPNP Application Batch 2013-Settlement Plan 2

Hi guys.Is MPNP still requiring Settlement Plan 2 from our sponsors? how come that they didn't mention it anymore in the step by step procedures i mean in the latest that theyve published.I have actually informed my cousin who will sponsor me to draft it already.

How are they gonna validate and communicate with our sponsors re their plans for us? I suppose theyre just gonna call?

I would like to clarify,

Thanks so much.

Yes, SP2 is required from your sponsor and this will also validate your actual relationship with the sponsor. Both SP1 and SP2 are very important factors of approval for MPNP. Most case workers will rely on your adaptability points on a very good, well researched SP1 an SP2. It is good to let your cousin draft it already.

They will email your sponsor, so double check the email address you provided regarding your sponsor.

In my case, I also asked my uncle and he sent me a copy of his SP2, which I approved. I actually already uploaded it together with my application online.

And just a reminder, make sure you are submitting your Birth Certificate, Your cousin's BC, your mother's or father's (whoever is related to your cousin) BC and your cousin's (mother or father, whoever is related to you). Just in case that you don't have it. Because many posters here stated that they were rejected just because they lack enough proof of relation to their sponsor.

Good luck

Thanks so much.By the way, am I gonna attach my father and my auntie's birth certificate with my application? They don't have a specific placement in the application form online.

I do have my father, my cousin and my aunt's birth cert already.

You have been so gracious TABS 179! God bless you!!!

And here's a pahabol: Can I submit SP2 with SP 1? How? The online application again don't have a placement for such.

Thanks again!!!

I don't know if there have been changes in the online system. But I uploaded those birth certificates under my own documents, and I just added them as additional documents. Then I put a note on the remarks, ex. proof of relationship - aunt's birth certficate/father's birth certficate/ cousin's birth certificate

In this part, I think there is a section for sponsor's documents. Here I also put other (although I think there was an option of settlement plan), and again, remarks ex. Settlement Plan 2.

When there is no actual option, I always choose the option 'other' as there is a place where you can provide a remark. End of the day, it is better to have more documents than lesser documents. Less documents means less evidence and that will may lead to a refusal.

Posted already the birth cert of my father, my aunt and my cousin.

Thank you again TABS 179!!!
