Hi,

MPNP requirement for skill level A should be at least a band score of 5 in IELTS. A minimum score of 4 is for NOC C & D applicants. The link below may add to this information.

Hello everyone..

i would really appreciate if someone could please answer my queries

1. my father's friend lives in Manitoba since last 10 years and he is willing to sponsor us. Will it be an effective connection? what do you think? as I wouldn't be the main applicant, my husband would file the case. so it means the connection of the main applicant to the sponsor would be ...wife's uncle

2. what sort of questions are asked by the sponsor ?
3. does the applicant submit settlement plan 2 online (signed by the supporter) or it has to be submitted in person in Manitoba office?

yes you are right. We need someone else to call and ask them the estimated timeline of GS online applicants.

I can't call them because of my less speaking skills.

I will like to ring them and ask questions on everyones request, unfortunately I dont have the number to ring. If anyone have the contact number kindly send it.

Here's a new thread made for MPNP applicants for the whole year of 2013.

Good luck and God bless you all.

Hello! I am new here and planning to apply under MPNP. My friend staying in Winnipeg will help us. We are planning to apply online, all documents are ready except my worry of weak Settlement Plan. I saw some post that application might get rejected if weak settlement plan. Can someone please help us. Are there any tips on how to do our settlement plan?

Upon reading we know that we fall under MPNP General Stream since we have a friend only and not relative.

I'm currently 28 week pregnant and we dont know where can we add this details. I have my medical reports and not sure what we should do.

Thank you for your assistance and for opening this topic.

It will off course not be a very strong connection but it should not effect a lot. They just see how willing is the sponsor and how much ready the applicant is.

i think this is the number.

Also please ask the estimated time. They will not tell you the exact time but at least tell them to give an estimated time for GS online applicants like 6-9 months etc.

thank you for the reply. well, actually my uncle (sponsor) and my father's friendship is more than 20 yrs old..
my uncle is residing in Winnipeg since last decade and he supported his brother also 2 yrs ago in family stream and he is also settled in Winnipeg.

Please can you confirm :
-whether is mandatory for spouse to submit IELTS or not.
-and if i submit balance certificate at this point, will it be ok?
-is there anyone here who has landed in Manitoba through general stream? (sponsored by friend)?
- to be more specific, is there any Pakistani who got MPNP approval ? if yes, then how long did it take?

Thanks again in advance
