Hi simplex,

I appreciate your prompt response to my questions. Do I actually need to pay them altogether or RpRF can wait?

Regards,
pau

Firstly, you can pay the processing fee, which is very important when sending application to CIC. OR pay processing fee and RPRF together, OR separately, whichever way you wish.

Yes, General Stream applicants can also apply online now. But if you already submitted your application by mail, you have to wait patiently for your AOR and LOA. You don't have to pay any fees, assuming you are applying for nomination to Manitoba.. Hope it helps

yes you can but GS online is of no use. The processing time for GS online is not same as FS Online. As you can see many Feb FS online applicants received their sponsor interviews and Jan applicants got their LOA as well but there is not even a single sponsor interview for GS online applicants of Jan. I think GS online is taking the same amount of time as GS by mail.

Wondering why your sponsor's interview is still pending.

It's really a pain waiting and I also wonder why. :( I hope that MPNP isn't affected with the ongoing strike...

Keeping my hopes high!

There's an on going strike for around two weeks now...to date, it is not getting any better.

News says:

20 June 2013 - Canada's Foreign Service Officers announce additional pickets in Ottawa and escalated service withdrawals

This is a Federal thing, just praying that Manitoba program is not at all affected. Any thoughts?

Hello to All,

I was able to call the MPNP office yesterday. They confirm receipt of the SP2 and the supporting documents from my friend supporter which I sent to them last week. I asked them how long will it usually take for the MPNP process, and according to the person I talked with, their priority now is processing of applicants with an ongoing job in Manitoba and those applicants under family stream. For applicants like me under the general stream, it will take sometime to process. I am one of the Federal Skilled Worker backlog applicants since 2005 and waited more than 7.5 years just to find out that our application was deleted and is subject for refund. Now with the MPNP, how long should I wait again? It is really tiring to wait. I already wasted my youth, investment opportunities and overseas job opportunities which I turned down while waiting for my FSW application, and now I am starting all over again with my new application under the MPNP. May I ask if there are general stream applicants in this forum who applied this year and already have the interview with your supporter. Your advise will be appreciated. Thank you.
