Dear friends,

I got refusal today. My MPNP selection factor is :

Age : 10 Points
Education : 20 points
Work exp. : 16 points
Language : 6
Adaptability : 5

Total = 57 out of 55

Reasion is based on you ielts result and specifically your reading score.

My IELTS score is (L=5.5, R=3.5, W=5.0, S=5.5) Overall =5.0. and it is complies within CLB4 criteria.

My application is paper application and applied in Nov 2012. after 3 years they given this type of decision.

Is any have idea about request to mpnp. If yes, so please guide me.

Thanks in advance.

I am really sorry to hear that and I can totally understand how are you feeling right now. But if this is only reason thy refuse your applications they should have ask you to submit another copy of IELTS or redo your exam again in last 3 years. Unusually they look for speaking score only who usually check reading scores. I would advice try with express entry and send email to mpnp to reconsider your application. I think kit would be worth to spending some money to get advice form any lawyer from MB not in your country see if you can contact them again and try to make them understand that there were other positive factors on your file too so they should approve your file . Because the reason they give you should not take them 3 years so try this.DON'T LOOSE HOPE
I am really worried now about my brother too as we are waiting for decision form last 5 months now.If you don't mind can I ask did they send you refusal letter via email or mail ? did you apply under family or close freedoms stream ? did they interview you and your sponsor both ? what's your current occupation

@pndrana don't give up on your Canada application. I know it's really upsetting for you at this point. My advise for you will be to do another IELTS and that way you can better your grade.

I started my journey of Canada application since 2008, in fact some of my friends and people that I convinced to try out this programme have long ago settled and have their Canadian Passport . There was lots of obstacles, setbacks, anger and faustration. I tried everything ! At some point I gave up to the whole thing but behold the one I didn't have even have interest in came through finally. Be strong and have in mind that our thoughts are different from that of God

How come ? were you nominated by the province ? or you were applying to be nominated ? i noticed that you have aor on your schedule ? is that possible?

Can anyone tell me !

If someone has uploaded IELTS Academic in MPNP family stream .. is this ok ?

The Academic IELTS is not valid for MPNP. You should redo the General one and submit this.

I have to worries as My IELTS score is (L=5.5, R=3.5, W=5.0, S=5.5) Overall =5.0 - same as Pndrana, what will happen to my result??.. only God know.. :-(

Hi all,

I need a some information about the Manitoba immigration, I heard from some consultants that one can apply to Manitoba with minimum 5 band. When I check their website, I've found that one should score minimum 60 marks to be eligible. As per their points list, my score in age, language, study and work is around 55. I don't have any colleague, friends or relatives in Manitoba nor I have any education or experience in Canada.

Would I still be able to qualify for the Manitoba immigration? Can I get regional marks, if I intent to live outside Winnipeg?

How does the Provincial Nomination programs works?

In the above mentioned occupation, I worked 5 years ago but in the last 5 years I have been working as a supervisor of Automotive service technician. Will I am still able to qualify or not?

Try to increase ur ietls score in reading and update asap . Because 3.5 is very low and there is some chances for rejection . So god has given u one intimation .

But you have to focus reading this link as it is applicable to you: http://www.immigratemanitoba.com/immigrate/other-options/

I wish you all the best!
