Hi all,

I need your help on this issue :

we have received our AOR on 24 march now we are waiting for medical request.

my problem is that my husbands passport is expiring this October and we have to renew it now and it will take 9 weeks to get a new passport.

my question are

- how long it will take to get a medical request after AOR and how much time we get to get our medicals done ?
- how much time we are given to submit after the passport request ?

so I can figure out when should I send my passport for renewal .

Please help me..
I applied for my PR in Jan 2014 on the based of AB-PNP. After that i got married in March and i added my wifes name in my file. So, CIC asked m details of my wife which was already submitted by me in August and at the same time i got request for my landing fee. After that i havent heard anything. But, last week i got an email saying that my wife(she is in canada on work permit now) has to re do her medical as it is already expired. And i got this email from India. We have already submitted her medical so when can i expect "In process" status. It has been already 14 months sine i applied and i dont know by some how it looks like my file is being transferred to india for processing.

I have already taken an appointment with Canada Approved panel documents for the upfront medical test for April 7, 2015.. as I am expecting to received my AOR on or before this date so I have to go ahead and done with the upfront medical.

There is nothing wrong as It is valid for one year from the date you have done your medical so better you must go ahead and do the same now and when you get the eMedical receipt from your panel doctor you must submit the same to the visa office by email as well as by mail too... Also after this process you will get your medical request from Visa office on that time you just have to send them again this receipt to confirm that you have already sent them as you have done upfront medical you have inform them when they sent you medical request because medical request is auto system generated email so you will get for sure. Hope this will work and believe me it will save your almost 2 months time in total.... It is work 110% so you can go ahead with the upfront medical instead of waiting for medical request from Visa office because it will take another one months from the date you have received your AOR.

I am waiting for AOR number yet hope I will receive before first week of April because its so frustrating me now a days. I don't know what is stopping them to issue AoR after such a long time of almost six months.

When did you sent your application to CIC ? Have you received your AOR ?

May I know when did your status changed to Assessment Pending and which VO? thanks!

Still status is Assesment pending... wondering by now there should happen some movement. MPNP website says new intake of aplication from April2015. So hoping they will clear old application....
