Dear all, i have question , do we have to Update MPNP on change on my salary and some how my position.

In addition my Employer change the contact person and address . What would you advice us ? We are at MPNP application stage

You do not need to inform MPNP office for any minor changes; re: promotion, recognition, transfer within the same company, etc. You need to inform if you change your company and so on. Also JFYI, MPNP assessment officer will count the application form you have submitted to them with your salary, job etc. Any changes after submitting the application will be count as an information update. I hope it will help to clarify your concern.

Could you kindly share your timelines. I am a Bangladesh citizen. I have also applied for MPNP in Dec, 2013. Still waiting for LOA or Further document request. Between this time I have moved to Beijing, China, and studying in a research institute. I have changed my address online. Can I chose HK visa office if I receive LOA from MPNP. Sorry to bother you..

Sorry to interfere your question, You have to use your current residence visa office if you live there more than 6 months whether it is in Bangladesh or in Hong Kong. I hope it is clear to you.

Obliviously you need to inform in regards with changing your passport also you may have to provide your new passport copy too.

I don't think there is anything bad in using debit card, insofar you have enough limit to be able to pay the money. I used debit card to pay for my family application fee (Family of four) and we did not have any problem. Hope this help

Anyone can give an idea about the total cost to apply CIC including visa fees, landing fees, etc for applicant and dependent both (No Children). Many thanks.

Processing fee (Applicant) = 550

Processing fee Spouse = 550

Dependent under 22yrs = 150

Right of permannent resident fee (490). Dependents are exempted from RPRF.

i think debit card not for this.

otherwise you can pay by DD.

i can use my debit card for any currency whatever it is "$", CSD, ASD, Rs

Me again, we are currently reviewing the generic application form and we need to know what date we will put in the "to" under Question 10 - Current Country of Residence since we are still in Dubai.

It doesn't accept the word "present" and we need to enter a date.

Please help us.

Hi Brieanna! Sorry for late reply, I was too busy and just now noticed your question. I remember what others did in their case, they only wrote the word "present" after they print the form. But what I did was, I indicated the date when my visa expires.

There's guide in filling-up the form. Follow the below guide about the "passport":

Question 1
Check the appropriate box to indicate if you have a valid passport or travel document.
Question 2
If you checked "Yes", provide your passport or travel document number. Make sure there is no space between each number or letter.
Question 3
From the list, select the country that issued your passport or travel document.
Question 4
Enter the date your passport or travel document was issued.
Question 5
Enter the expiry date of your passport or travel document.

Right, here are some updates regarding Nairobi VO.

I got an email from Nova Scotia on Friday 20/06/2014 that my file has already been transferred to Nairobi VO and is being held over there.

I contacted the Nairobi VO via telephone and to be honest, I was surprised that they do actually pick up the phone and are very polite. My latest status update is that my file is in a quick to be reviewed by an immigration officer. I therefore queried to as how long can it take for me to be allocated an immigration officer. And to my disappointment, the answer was between 6-12months waiting period..like for **** sake...this bullshit waiting period. Nairobi received my file during April 2014 period.
