Hi Friends,

By grace of God i finally got Passport Request today !! ;D

Submitted passport at VFS Chandigarh within 2 hours of receiving e-mail. Interesting thing is that VFS staff told me that VISA WILL BE STAMPED AT CHANDIGARH CONSULATE OF CANADA & will not be sent to NEW DELHI as mentioned in e-mail.

Looking forward to receiving passport back with visa.

I have 2 kids who are of school age already (5.5 & 11 by summer) so although we are yet to receive our PPR, I have been researching for good places to raise a family and have come across a forum where they have suggested the following areas.

Linden Woods South West
Saint Vital South
Charleswood West
River Heights Central
Amber Trails North
Birds' Hill Park North

I am thinking in terms of good environment for the kids, nearby school (and hopefully church as well), accessibility (public transpo) and safety.

May I ask our seniors who are already in Canada to please share their thoughts on these places? Or recommend something else more suited?

Hi to all!

we also applied for MPNP last September 2012, we were nominated last feb 2013 then they received our application package June 5, 2013, done our medical on Sept 2013, they requested an additional docs and we submitted it on Oct 2013, until now we don't have any update. does anybody here having the same status with us?

Sorry seems bit naive, When logged in to Apply Online it gives 2 options i.e Access Manitoba and MPNP online. As you (Sukh 1234 ) said after clicking on to MPNP online, it starts new application only. Doesn't asks to enter any file number or any thing to check status of application (hard copy via snail mail) in 2012.

Please anyone help!

Me i applied in Dec 2012 under Gen Stream. My supporter submitted my application directly in MPNP office in winnipeg. Got my AOR in April 2013. Until now i still have no updAte.

i applied in june 2012 as well,still no sponsor interview.now i am eligibile for family stream so i am withdrawing my case,will submit again in family stream .hope this time they proess faster..
