Hello to All,

I was able to call the MPNP office yesterday. They confirm receipt of the SP2 and the supporting documents from my friend supporter which I sent to them last week. I asked them how long will it usually take for the MPNP process, and according to the person I talked with, their priority now is processing of applicants with an ongoing job in Manitoba and those applicants under family stream. For applicants like me under the general stream, it will take sometime to process. I am one of the Federal Skilled Worker backlog applicants since 2005 and waited more than 7.5 years just to find out that our application was deleted and is subject for refund. Now with the MPNP, how long should I wait again? It is really tiring to wait. I already wasted my youth, investment opportunities and overseas job opportunities which I turned down while waiting for my FSW application, and now I am starting all over again with my new application under the MPNP. May I ask if there are general stream applicants in this forum who applied this year and already have the interview with your supporter. Your advise will be appreciated. Thank you.

I saw on e-cas medical results have been received but no date.

Unfortunately the date the ecas was updated isnt stated unless you monitor the ecas on a daily basis that is when you can ascertain when an update is made on your application on the ecas.

Not too sure how it works since I hadnt stayed out my country. Kindly wait for others that included multiple police certificates for guidance.

BAD NEWS guys! My file was transferred by CIO to Abu Dhabi VO instead of Manila VO which I indicated in my application. :( :( >:(

It is well ad123164 . May your application finds favour in the sight of the processing officer in order to get it processed speedily.

Hi Emperor!

I've copied below my post in April/March thread. I need your opinion on the last part of my post please...help me decide...

I have indicated Manila VO as the office I wish process in my application. In my AOR, it is clearly stated that my file will be transferred to the VO which I INDICATED in my application. However, I begin to doubt that my file was indeed transferred to Manila after not receiving an MR after 30 days from AOR date whereas fellow March/April-CEM applicants received theirs.

FYI, I'm residing here in Saudi Arabia together with my family for the last 15 years and due to this reason why CIO opted (yes! they have this prerogative!) to transfer my file to ADVO instead of CEM. But the problem is my family will leaving KSA for good this coming July and I'll follow suit this coming August.

Now, my predicament is whether to wait till ADVO (since I've waited for almost 2 months already!) issues an MR or to immediately request ADVO to transfer of my file to Manila....

Hello ad123164,

this is a delicate call for me to make. There are two things I know of Manila and ADVO. Manila is pretty fast and ADVO is known as one of the slowest just like Singapore VO. I really dont know if this will work, I would advice you ask Manila through an email if it is possible for you to ask for transfer of file and what is the implication in terms of where in the queue you would be. Sounds crazy ??? asking VO this kind of question, but maybe you want to try that. Otherwise search through the various threads in the forums to have an idea of how long a PNP applicant takes to get MR from ADVO after receipts of application from CIC, Nova Scotia. That will help you gauge the better option to go for.

I hope I have not complicated things here.?
