Hi everyone. Its been more than 2 months since I had the medical done but still no result yet. How long do I have to wait for the result? Will they be sending the result via snail mail or by email? Thank you.

Yes but if it will take you sometime to get, you can file your application with CIC as they will definitely ask for it in when your application is sent to the visa office in charge of processing your application.

Medical results are not sent to the applicant but rather to the designated CIC in charge of reviewing the medical examination report. If your medical exam is okay it is logged otherwise a re-medical instruction will be sent to you.

After a successful medical examination, the next action expected from the visa office is passport request (PPR).

I saw on e-cas medical results have been received but no date.

thanks for the reply...

meaning we can still send our papers without the police clearance and send them later if they request for it? I thought they will not accept incomplete requirements? thanks..

It's OK to submit without PCC's...speaking from personal experience...got AOR already from CIO.

I am just wondering, what is the difference with the visa processing in Manila Visa Office and Singapore Visa Office. Why SGVO takes 24 months of processing while CEM is only 11 months. My CIC AOR was 18 May 2012 and until now no updates from SGVO. Waiting kills me. How I wish I filed my application in Manila. :'(
