Being interviewed for MPNP is a good sign, it means that you reached the last stage because they assessed your application and considered you qualified for the program. It's only how you and your sponsor convinced the program officer during the interview that you are really deserving and qualified to be in Manitoba with ofcourse the help of your sponsor during your settlement.

Release of decision letter differs for every applicant, some will have a decision the day after the interview, some will be weeks and some will be months but in the end most applicants receive LOAs. You should also consider the transit time to deliver the decision letter especially if your mailing address is not in Manitoba. Like in my country, Philippines, it took me 3 weeks to receive the letter.

We've all been through the stage you are in now and we truly understand how you feel. Just keep the faith. God bless.

Hi guys,

Let me just share weird happenings in my application. Last March 06, my supporter got interviewed, i receive no AOR prior to the interview. Then today, we received an email from MPNP regarding the AOR dated March 12. We our expecting LOA rather than AOR, is this a good sign? . Does it mean that they already made LOA, because as i understand it, all application should have file number first before the LOA. ;D .

I will look at it from the positive side. Though the usual practice is to get the AOR before interview but yours was the other way round. If your mailing address is that of your sponsor in Manitoba, you should just give the MPNP a week or two for the arrival of the LOA otherwise you can send them an email.

Thanks. I just freaked out because it is really deviant and most applicants who were interviewed first, receive no more AOR, just LOA all the way. Hehe. Unfortunately, i have entered my home address so it will be a long journey for the LOA to reach me. Anyway, if i did not get it until the 2nd week of April, i will email them. Thanks again, i will inform you guys once i get it. ;D

Not I know personally but from the forums I read. You can't say if it's a good or bad sign because assessment is different for each applicant based on the documents presented. And program officer is different from one another although they follow same standard but they have different ways of assessing one's file.

Just keep the faith and have more patience. God bless

CONGRATS! Is the officer's name starts with an "A"? If yes, don't worry much if you and your sponsor answered everything TRUTHFULLY.
