Hi guys. I am applying for MPNP under its general stream category through a distant relative. I have completed my forms and gathered all the documents required. Will mail them in 5-7 days. Just notarizing the documents is left. I have few questions related to notarizing the documents and sending the documents.
I have checked the general stream checklist but am still confused on some of the stuff.

i have already notarized the following documents.
copies of my educational documents, copy of birth certificate, copy of passport and copy of work experience letter.

I still want to ask.

1. Which original documents i need to send?
2. Which documents i need to notarize?
3. Should i send the notarized copy of IELTS test or its simple copy?
4. Do i need to send original bank statement without notarizing?

Someone please answer these questions as i am preparing my application to mail. I am from Pakistan so someone from there can tell me all the stuff above.

Hi ibad17

Yes bank statement in any currency can work.

I'm from Pakistan but I don't know much about document requirements for General stream as I applied online.

Why don't you post your query at following forum specifically for Pakistani PNP applicants as I know couple of General stream applicants over there.

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/any-one-from-pakistan-apply-to-london-office-as-provincial-nominee-t45824.0.html

I hope that helps.

Yes, as long as you will convert the amount into Canadian Dollars in SCHEDULE4: ECONOMIC CLASSES-Provincial Nominees form. This is the form wherein you will declare the amount of your Settlement Fund. This is what I did and accepted by MPNP.

Good day to everyone!

I applied through online application for MPNP last August 2012. After 48 hours, they replied via email confirming that they receive my application and also, included on that letter was my File Number. But the file number that i received was with a 2 letters and a 10 digit numbers.
I just want to know, how will I be able to track my application.

your respond will be a great help.
thank you.

Hello :)

It means you receive your AOR (Acknowledgement Of Receipt) & File Number. Next will be the sponsor's interview if you applied under GS (General Stream) or FS (Family Stream).

You can not access the status of your application by using the file number that MPNP gave you, there is no way to check it. The only sign that our applications are moving is when we receive updates like receiving AOR and File number, interview of our sponsors and Letter of Approval (LOA).

The next stage will be the Permanent Resident Visa Application. Once your application is considered complete by the CIO-NS, you will be given the UCI, I assume it's like a file number, that you need to key in when using the ECAS (Electronic Client Application Status). Then you can check your application status.

My answers for 2nd application stage are based from the posts I read, as I can not share my own experience yet since I am still waiting for my decision letter from MPNP.

Other members may share their experiences about this matter.

Hello :)

1. Which original documents i need to send?
All Immigration forms in letter B and the Bank Certificate
2. Which documents i need to notarize?
All copies of supporting documents in letter C of the MDOC General (Checklist) need to be notarized.
3. Should i send the notarized copy of IELTS test or its simple copy?
Copies of non Canadian documents need to be notarized, so the answer is yes.
4. Do i need to send original bank statement without notarizing?
Bank statement are transactions recorded in your passbook. What I did is I photocopied my passbook for the last 3 months then notarized
it from the notary public or you may ask a bank personnel to sign it for you. You may also do both.
