Hello :)

For the benefit of other members, please post your messages in english.

As of now, general stream applicants receive their AORs (Acknowledgement Of Receipt), 4 to 5 months after the submission of their applications.

You can access the tracking sheet to view the timelines of other members by adding this link in your signature space: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ArY_aHkJjmL_dFdOLXhST2VOYkwtNUgxczR2eFRVd0E

I included your timeline in the Tracking Sheet.

Good luck and God bless.

Hi there! That's awesome we are on the same boat! I am also under GS and i have submitted by app last Aug 26. Still,am waiting for my AOR. Basing on the trend of GS, it will take 4-5 mos for the AOR(file number) arrive. Then, another 4-5 mos for the LOR, after the sponsor or supporter has been interviewed. Please inform me with your timeline. Thanks :D

Hi, thanks for your reply, don't see why the processing time should be any more for any other nationality that is processed at the UK VO. If they all go to the London office surley they are processed depending on the application type and not by the nationality of the applicant?

Regards

Andrew
Dear Andrew,

I want you to be right honestly :)

Its seems there is a conflict between Canada immigration and London visa office sites

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/provincial.asp

I was following the above link. Which is constantly updated as even now it says 21 months from london visa office based on last august update.

You are right. Should not be based on nationality but based on first-in first-out. But that isn't the case for Pakistanis.

Hi, if you look at the processing times for PNP applicants from this site and other expat sites, i can't find one application processed in uk that has taken more than 9 months, which makes me think that this information is not correct and conflicts with the UK Canadian High Commission website, i would think that the information on the UK website to be the most accurate, however i will email the commission and see what they have to say.

Hi. I just want to ask if english certificates or letters stating the medium of instruction or language used for communication & documentation is english from all my schools & companies which I worked for are sufficient enough to prove my english language ability? I didn't took IELTS. Thank you.

Hi, unless you are a PNP applicant and are applying with an NOC occupation with A or B Skilled worker then you will have to undertake IELTS. Hope this helps.

Regards

Andrew

Thanks for the reply Andrew. May I know what is this NOC occupation with A or B skilled worker? What are these occupations?

As per my knowledge every body have passport with english language only....
but every document which u have to submit to MPNP, which is not in English should be translated to English version....
one another thing passport is not basically a identity document ......its a travel document only....
