Emperor and Gurminder, you guys should receive your LOA dis week by God's grace. Amen

Dear,

There are two part of the processing first one is with MPNP office till you get LOA which is same for all countries the only difference is the type of the application in general now days for general stream it take one year to get LOA and for family approx 6 months.

Once LOA is issued than its federal processing to issue you visa based on LOA / medical / criminal recod check.

Federal processing time varies based on the VIsa office this information is avaialbe on the site as well. For applications going to london visa office takes 18 months which is same if you apply from pakistan.

Hi, think your estimate of london processing time is a little long, at the moment the processing time from London Visa ofice is 6-7 months. I know of other PNP applicants that it took 4 months to get their PR.

Took this from the London office web page: http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/united_kingdom-royaume_uni/visas/processing-traitement.aspx?view=d

Permanent Residence:
•Skilled Worker applications received before February 27, 2008: 42 - 48 months
•Skilled Worker applications received after February 27, 2008: Because these applications are affected by new regulations, an average processing time is currently not available. Do not contact us for case status enquiries within 9-12 months of submitting your application
•Entrepreneurs and Self-employed persons: 42-48 months
•Investors: 12-18 months
•Family Class: 6 months
Provincial Nominee, Quebec, Skilled Workers with Arranged Employment: 6 months
•Refugees: Up to 18 months

For all permanent resident applications (except Family Class, Provincial Nominees, Arranged Employment and Quebec applications), a letter of Acknowledgement of Receipt is sent to the applicant within 24 weeks from the date this office receives the completed application. The Acknowledgement provides details of processing times. Please read it carefully.

Hello Andrew,

I would assume the 6-7 months timeline are for British nationals. I don't think I know any Pakistani that has his/her application processed within this period you mentioned and would want to believe Biddukhan's assertion as to 18 months.

Note that Pakistanis applications for PR are processed in London.

I have completed all my documents and will be applying for MPNP General stream next month. I have all the documents translated in English except my ID Card, but have my Passport in English. I want to ask that is this necessary to translate our ID Card even if my passport is in English.?

Hi, thanks for your reply, don't see why the processing time should be any more for any other nationality that is processed at the UK VO. If they all go to the London office surley they are processed depending on the application type and not by the nationality of the applicant?

Andrew

Hi.. Im under general stream and my friend send the application on aug 30,2012
