Another inquiry, new requirement for general stream is to use the settlement plan 2 by your sponsor, which in our case is a friend. Although it says in the website the mas will still be accepted until oct 1. Anyway,He just informed us thru email that he just sponsored a relative who applied thru online. But he is still willing to sponsor us. But we are wondering if he can still sponsor us since it says in the website that "someone who is not currently supporting the settlement of another Mpnp applicant"?

I hope u got the answer from other members by the what about your second sponsor?

@bk: yeah, but as per the latest application and requirements list for Mpnp, they will only be requiring a friend. So it means only one friend is enough if you will use settlement plan 2 form? Because in MAS, they required two friends to support or sponsor you.

hello guyz....i think i need to take ielts for cic requirements....But during sponsor's interview they didn't ask additional requirements and my cousin just worried that they will return my papers if lacking some docs on the new checklist. Please any links or sites to recommend about IELTS? Starting now for self review.....

Hi, I am a newbie here. I am based in Abu dhabi UAE. We are planning to apply via general stream of Mpnp. Can a My friend sponsor us even though his husband has just sponsored another friend who has just finished the medical requirement and who has not landed yet in Canada?

please clarify! ...are you referring to your friend's husband (i assume your friend is a lady...not his husband - joke!) or to the wife (your friend)? for what i knew..one of my sponsors had sponsored another person aside from me within same year and fortunately he had recieved both AORs..but i don't know what will happen during the interview (for LOA) if that could affect the two applications or MPNP might approved them depends on the income and economic status of the sponsors..in my case although they are both filipinos they have very good income and financial resources..i think the question there is...are your sponsors able to prove their capacity to support 2 persons, if that's the case, i see no problem sponsoring you at the same time. God is good all the time !

I would like to second Salbakuta comment here it seems tht its kind of required for most of the applicants to submit ielts results inspite of what skill set you fall in.

I would advice dont wait just prepare and go for the exams.

I agree, my occupation falls under category A but still they requested me to have my IELTS. As what is stated in their website, the MPNP are highly reccommending that everyone should have their IELTS.

thanks for the advise,,and i know that,,actually im planning to take the ielts exam soon coz its included in the new cic requirements, its just that im not yet ready to take the exam coz its expensive,,and i would be thankful if mpnp will not require me..like "mhey' who recently got her LOA without incuding ielts on her application.it means she was approved without it..anyway thanks and Good luck for all of us..and im always praying for a positive result..God is good all the time!

how was the interview ? usually they issue LOA within a week of the interview then the only delay is delivery part.

So keep your hopes high and wait till end of august for it to be delivered.

I have 99% of my online application under family support stream. I got problem under education section. under hi school no of years selection less than 10 years, 10 years and 12 years. I select 10 years assuming 6 years in primary grades and 4 years in hi school thats why I select 10 years.

Post secondary I select three plus more years because I have taken bachelor of science in mechanical engineering 5 year course. of course i have uploaded transcript and diploma for secondary and post secondary.

my inquiry is in the last section review and submit when I review the document under education I got an error in red fonts that states

To be eligible for MPNP, you must provide at minimum a ‘Degree / diploma / certificate’ AND a ‘Transcript’ to support your post-secondary or trade education.

can you help me what to do the selection or what i can do to correct what is wrong in my application under eduction section. everything i have been entered.

Hi there. Select 10 years secondary (6 yrs primary + 4 yrs secondary). Have you uploaded your diploma and transcript of records for your post secondary / college / university degree? I think that is what's lacking. The online tool is pretty straight forward. Hope you complete your application and good luck on your application!

no of years secondary : 10 years (6yrs primary and 4 years hi school)
no of years in post secondary : Three plus more than years (5 years engineering course mechanical)

still....i got error at the review document section.
