guys...just wanna ask, which is better to take the medical exam? St. Lukes or IOM? thank you...

manitoban, i will give you my recomendation thru your PM.

..at the top of this page..there are folders ... first folder is HOME then followed by ASSESSMENT ... then go to INBOX folder, if you have PM, it will call your attention becasue it will reflect the total number of messages in your Inbox.

Can you also give me any information on this? St. Luke's or IOM? I opened a new post on it, but nobody has replied to it.

anyway, for me.. I would choose SLEC . Only because of the experiences that was shared to me by my friends. They told me that they immediately send the result ( max is 1 week).

here is their website: http://www.slec.ph/

for IOM, they said it is also good to have your medicals there, but i have heard from previous posts ( i cannot remember where it is) that the result is being sent for more than 3 weeks.

this is the reason why i chose SLEC.

NOTE: I am not a member of SLEC nor any of my family, so i am basing my decision based on others experience.

Anyway, the decision is still up to you.

That's what I also heard, that SLEC is faster, but strict. Please share us your medical experience when you had yours. Good luck.

Congratulations Ramcal !!!!!!

Guys, i am really sorry if I cannot update your timeline because most of the times I am using my tablet and i cannot do it here. Hence, i am looking for a volunteer who can help me in maintaining the TS. Just hit me up with your Gmail email account so I can give authorization. Thanks guys. ;D

Medical...

My family did ours in SLEC in Global...not much lines...friendly staff and i guess they are quick in sending results (although i have to follow up today if they did already)...we had our medical last monday...

My advise as also advised to me by some members here...do not declare anything......
.....if you have any illness or medication being taken...if they find out.....then just comply later....if you worry if you're diabetic...no test will be asked with regards to blood sugar levels et al..you just need to pass the urinalysis and no sugar will be present in such test...the blood test done does not require fasting and just test for HIV and syphillis.....
.....if its hypertension- make sure its controlled....whether you declare or not.....if your BP is not normal...they will have to refer you to a doctor which could also be a doctor of our choice to give you a certification........and should you decide to declare your illness.....just make sure you can get a certification from your doctor that your illness is being managed and that prognosis is the next 5 years will be ok.....its actually your choice :-)

These are by the way just my thoughts and the decision is still up to you....i do not want to discuss or argue with anyone here.... :-) good luck and congratulations to everyone who got MRs and PPRs :-)
