That is a great suggestion but I think it is too late, we are already approaching the last quarter of 2013 and most of the members here are about to graduate. Plus, it will take so much time just to edit, sort and update this timeline. Sorry but I hope you understand.

I just noticed that the release for LOA for one of our friends in GS took more than 6mos. Is this accurate or just a coincidence? Though Kurt has not received his as well.

from receipt of MPNP-AOR up to LOA ..yes, it normally takes around 6 months for GS... mine was more than 6 months.

HI all,

Just only an option.

My status in Visa application was recieve already in CIO last sept4, 2013. I am after on my police clearance from Japan submitted along with my new NBI manila submitted.

My police clearance from japan that I submitted is expired since 2011.08-13 but the envelop is sealed and noted only Canadian authorities can open the police clearance documents. or else it is void. I used these one because I did not go back again to japan since I have the police clearance

question:
what do you think? i will be going to get new police clearance from japan (it takes 3 months to wait to get the PC). I assume my PC is secured and declared that i did not go back to japan since finish the contract. then, the PC is sealed.

I have PM with Rh3ia and Kidlat and as per advise it is better to get a new one.
When I am in the japanese embassy manila to renew my PC they told me that Japanese police clearance no expriration unles it will void or damage the seal. and it is reuired that only canadian autorities can open the said envelope "PC".

Pls advise kapuso!

Kindly update my timeline. My sponsor was interviewed yesterday (September 11). The interview went well but updated settlement plan of my sponsor has been requested. My sponsor has been asked to submit SP2 today. Hopefully LOA will soon follow.

Finally I've just receive my family's passports from advo with the visa stamps. The forum has been great for source of info for everyone.

Here's my updated timeline
As per ecas

July 16 2013 ADVO started processing application
August 12 2013 Medical request
Sept 2 Medicals done
Sept 11 PPR
Sept 21 Passports back with visa stamp
