Hello xdma :)

I updated your timeline on the spreadsheet. Hoping that our sponsors will be interviewed soon. Good luck to all of us and God bless.

Good job Tweety05 for updating our sheets, I'm a bit busy these days wasn't able to update the sheets. Hope our sponsor will be interviewed soon. Goodluck to all of us.

God bless everyone. :)

That's right Tweety05, but there are also some listening and reading exercises online, just try opening ielts.org. :)

I actually didn't bother to check online practice tests for Listening and Reading because I have IELTS books. But I do believe that it will be a great help for those who will take the exam.

Thanks

You're welcome. Yes, good luck to the interview of our sponsors and maybe, us, applicants as well.

I logged my file under Manitoba PNP , under friend as relative scheme.
My File was submitted by my Friend, who is my sponsor at Manitoba on 21ST DECEMBER 2011
I got my Temperory File Number on 25TH APRIL

Can anyone guide me further aproximately how much time would it take to get LOA and what would be the next processing step.

Hi,
Notary Public lawyers only render their services to any documents acquired by any person in their jurisdiction, meaning if your original documents were issued/acquired from the Philippines, the same should be notarized by lawyers from the Philippines (to be specific if the issuing party came from manila it should be notarized in manila, depends on the documents) or an embassy official in your current location (china- in particular)..hope it helps ! ;)

thank you cardinal11...did some inquiries with local chinese folks here, notarizing docs in china is totally different in philippines. I guess the chinese stamps in our work visas, translations and certificate of employment will suffice and accepted by MPNP...*im crossing my fingers*

Thanks tweety for the quick response. We contacted the helpline number in Manitoba and I was advised to take the ielts exam. He said that I would need to have an average of 6.5. Is ielts difficult. I hope I will get that score since I will only be doing self review. Do you happen to know the timeline for general stream. Thank you for the wishes also. God bless us all.

Is it requirement 6.5 for manitoba immigration :O ? but on their website, Required band is mentioned 5.0....?

You are right, in the website, the requirement is still 5.0 band score for IELTS. For you not to be confused or not to worry, just target a higher score that will add up to your points. Are you under General Stream or Family Stream?

dear tweety05

MPNP office didn't ask me for additional dcument since i got a temp file#.

application submitted:- 24th december 2011
AOR :- 27th april 2012

Hi All,

Im just about to submit all our documents to the Intake office in Nova Scotia. What I dont understand is how do I pay for the application fees.?

Mucho thanks!!!

Ronnie

Hi. Read the guide which will tell you how to pay Processing and Right of Permanent Residence Fees. Here is the link:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EP7TOC.asp

Good luck on your application!

Hi Ronnie!

Are you applying under general stream?

I just want to share that process is somehow confusing, some in the forum says we don't need to pay application fees at the moment since we're applying for nomination not for immigration yet.

Based on your question, I believe you followed the left (blue path) in the diagram below which requires an IMM 5690 checklist (4pages).

Hi. The process is not confusing. Pls do not mix up the provincial part with the federal part. Applying for provincial nomination thru MPNP does not involve any processing fees. After you are nominated, then you may now apply for your PR visa. It is the CIC (Federal) that issues PR visas. At this point the applicant will need to pay processing and right of permanent residence fees. Read on the website of Manitoba and CIC for detailed information. Hope this helps!
