@nefhale23

Hello to everyone here! :)
Welcome to the group:)

I had been reading this forum since it has only 20 pages.
That's good. Based from my experience, it is better to read forums along with the MPNP site.

I have a plan to apply to MPNP under Family support stream via online in August.
May I ask, how are you related to your sponsor?

I'm still gathering all necessary documents and preparing for IELTS.
It is better to submit IELTS even if you will apply under Family Stream. Make sure you'll take the GENERAL MODULE.

I have a lot of questions in my mind but this time I'll only ask this question.
What AOR and LOA stand for?
AOR (Acknowledgement Of Receipt)/FILE NUMBER - For online application, you will receive the File Number hours or a day after you submit your application. AOR is for General Stream, up to date, applicant can expect AOR after 3-6 mos of submission of application.
LOA (Letter Of Approval) - For online application, you can receive it usually after 3 mos from the date of submission. For mail application, 6-10mos.

Thanks in advance for answering my query!
You're Welcome :)

my application documents were submitted by my sponsor in Manitoba dated April 18, 2012...positively waiting for the reply from MPNP. Godspeed !! ;)

Thank you for answering my question! Now I know what AOR and LOA mean. SO I'll be expecting LOA since I'll apply thru online. :)

I have a lot of questions but reading this forum, my questions had been almost answered.

I will ask further questions once i had submitted my application thru online.

By the way, my sponsor is my aunt. Does it matter how do you related to your sponsor? She has been living in Winnipeg since June 2010.

Yes, I have read at the website that all applicants is recommended to submit their IELTS result.

Just for info. I'm also a Filipino and I'm a Kapampangan. :)

I'm looking forward to submit my application. As soon as possible. Up to date, IELTS result is the only document that I do not have.

Hello :)

The next thing you and your sponsor will expect after the file #/AOR is the INTERVIEW, it can only be the sponsor or sometimes interview for both. Then, the release of LOA.

Is your auntie, the sister of your parent? Family Stream (online application) - the sponsor should be your sister, brother, cousin (auntie/uncle's daughter/son), auntie/uncle (sister/ brother of your parent). With me, my sponsors are my father's first cousins that's why I applied under General Stream.

Good luck to your IELTS Exam. When are you planning to take it?

I am living in Quezon City.

@ Tweety05

Once again thanks for those information! It helps me a lot! :)

Yes my auntie whose living there is my mother's sister. Qualified for family stream to apply online. :)

I am planning to take my ielts in July but I am still not sure if will take exam. It will take some time plus the time of waiting of results.

I am thinking of applying online first, in there, i will be providing them the certification of medium of instruction both hs and college.

After that, if will they require me an additional document (probably ielts result), in that situation i am obliged to take the exam and submit my score. If they will not, much better and i can save almost P9,000.

Is my plan sounds good? Need some bunch of advice.

You're welcome :)

That is good as long as your intended occupation will not fall under NOC Level C or D, that really needs the English Proficiency Exam. It should be included in your application. What is your intended job? http://www.immigratemanitoba.com/how-to-immigrate/mpnp-resources/pnp-language-requirements/
