Hi ad123164! Yes, i'm hoping that our wait will just be a few more days. My add is Manila so I guess it will take longer, but that's ok so long as I get approved. Let's hope for the best! :D

Would advise you change it to Manitoba so as to get it faster. Just my view.

Hi, I am planning MPNP through the exploratory visit and not through any sponsor. I was only asking because what if in future I or my wife get a better job opportunity elsewhere in Canada. Because of my profession, it is quite possible. I want to understand this program very well before I decide to go for it.
It is not fair to make a judgement based on one question.

Hello jig nesh, ad123164 has to a large extent answered your question. I got my nomination via the exploratory visit stream and I must confess to you it worth every effort and money spent on that visit and am grateful that MPNP granted me the visit as well as LOA. It will be unfair of we the applicants get nominated and ultimately obtain PR and thereafter deprive Manitoba of the required skills to drive it economy by going elsewhere. I read in this forum where someone who was on a work permit and later sponsored by Quebec and was at the stage of passport request but the Quebec province got to know he has moved to Ontario. They notified CIC and himself of their withdrawal of the nomination of which was the end of his immigration aspiration via Quebec PNP.

While you can move I guess after obtaining PR, there may be a loophole to exploit by the province if they really want to go after you.

Hi New Members....need your help on my clarification....

I noticed that MPNP has a new "Documents Checklist (MDOCS)".....the said documents checklist has a number on the left...document requirement on the middle & a small box on the right...my clarification is that:

For MDOCS #8. ADDITIONAL FAMILY INFORMATION FORM IMM 5406) 1 page says that it should be completed and signed by #1. The Principal Applicant, #2. Spouse or common~law partner and #3. Each dependent child 18 years of age or over whether or not they are coming to Canada with the principal applicant....my clarification is that why the small box is only for Principal applicant only?........are the spouse & dependent no need to fill up this form?....need your help please......

Hi Emperor!

I guess I have gone a little bit "over the line" in replying to Jig Nesh just minutes ago. At the time, I just really don't know why I felt offended by the question. Now I know why... because a few minutes after posting the reply, I received the GOOD NEWS from my sponsor! Voila! she just received the mail containing my LOA ;D ;D ;D. Now, I owe A LOT to Manitoba for nominating me & the rest of family to the Federal Government of Canada to receive permanent residence visas.

Emperor, update my timelines PLEASE! LOA is dated Feb. 25.

Hey Poutine! Your's is really on the way. If I were you and can't wait to know the result, try sending an email to MPNP that you are changing your mailing address to your sponsor's address. If they already reached a decision, they will let you know through their email reply! ;D :-* ;D :-* ;D :-* ;D :-*

Congratulations ad12364 :) You've been a great help in our thread actually in the whole forum, that's why you are being blessed. Continue to help others, just be more cautious when replying to queries.

You indeeddeserve it brother and say congratulations on this milestone. Trust your application is ready for CIC Nova Scotia. Welcome to the the Federal Government side of the immigration as you are done with the Provincial Government. 8) 8) 8).

Timeline updated, but how come your sponsor is just informing you today. Thought letter delivery is faster like 2 days in Manitoba.

Thanks! The CIC application is quite ready...just to make double-checking and to receive by express courier the LOA from my sponsor. The police certificates I will just send later. The delivery of LOA letter is just 3 days from the day the decision was made. Thanks again!

Thanks! How I wish you have filed your application online. I have checked our tracking sheet, no chance of "guesstimating" when your sponsor interview will take place.
