IELTS is valid for 2 yrs now.
As per MPNP, you need CAD $10000 + $2000 for every dependent. For CHS, you need to show a little more.. Check this link -

Also have your sponsors been interviewed?

A nice early Xmas prezzie for you, congratulations. What was the posting date from Winnipeg? Did it come by airmail or surface mail? We are in the UK so i am hoping to get ours in the next 2 weeks, however i have heard that it takes 4-6 weeks to get to the UK from Canada!! Good luck with your next step.
