Hello everyone.
Do they now request for 3 months bank statement in the online application? Pls seniors can u help answer dis question.

Hi Mayoress: The requirement is 3 months but have read in the forum where MPNP requested for 6 months from some people.

In my own case I included 6 months as well as a covering letter from my bank which was scanned and uploaded when I applied.

Cheers.

Thanks for the reply Tweety. I have a dollar account in BPI but they don't provide passbooks. They only provide cards (like an atm card). Also, they don't sign the account statement. It is computer generated which they release after a month or more. Will it delay for me to apply to MPNP if I transfer my account to a different bank?

Ask for a bank certificate so that it will be signed. Account statements are normally not signed. You may request that yours be printed on official forms with letterhead. I am also a BPI client. You do not need to transfer to another bank. The longer that your account has been in the bank, the better.

Hope this helps!

Hi there. Unless changes have been made by MPNP, it used to be 3 months bank account history for applications by mail while it is 6 months for online applications.

Thanks so much Tweety & carl zeiss.

@ carl zeiss - Does it really take BPI a month to issue the account statement? What if MPNP or CIC requested again an updated account statement. They require a deadline for the submission right?

I have been issued a "Bank Certification for Visa Purposes" for my US$ account by BPI Cainta-Junction Branch a few days after I requested by email (I'm stationed here in Jeddah). They have even scanned and send it to me by email together with my wife's US$ account certification. Mentioned in the certification are the following account details:

1. Account Type
2. Account No.
3. Currency
4. Amount
5. Average Daily Balance/ Year-to-date
6. Date opened

This kind of certification is as good as a 6-month statement. I have already submitted my application online and they only asked for my sponsor's SP2. I presume that they find all my supporting documents in order including those bank certifications. I have also requested from Metrobank and they have given me also certification in similar format as BPI's.

I suggest that you visit your branch and request it personally.

This is a very good idea! Never thought of it ;D I am also waiting for our LOA to arrive. Where can i find the forms needed for the CIC application? I am clueless. Thanks much! :)

Hi, not allowed to post the links on here, but if you go the immigrate manitoba website and click on the "prepare to move tab" on the left, then click from the drop down menu "Apply for Visa" then click on the link to the CIC web page.

Hope this helps?

Yes, because it will definitely save much time than to send it here in the Philippines. But now, it doesn't really matter as long as I will get LOA. I am almost done with the requirements needed for CIC application because I am also planning to submit the complete application to CIO-NS, same day as I get my LOA. Anyway, thanks for your advice.

May I know your nationality?

Hi Tweety,

I am British, no point in getting the LOA sent to your sponsor as you need the stickers for your envelope, i was going to get my sponsor to scan the LOA letter, but then i realised that i would need the stickers, so will just have to wait for the mail, not sure when the LOA will be sent from Winnipeg?

Good luck to all

Andrew

Hi Andrew: The LOA can be sent to your sponsor and all he/she will do is just courier the exact package straight to you. The challenge is it takes a while (3 - 4 weeks) getting the LOA outside of Canada most especially in countries in Asia and Africa as against 5 days or a week if you use a Canadian mailing address.

The same day, I think it's auto reply....I'm not sure...but they replied him back.... :)

Yes, you're correct! My sponsor received an email today acknowledging receipt of SP2... that's about after 3 working days. Thanks again for your reply. At the rate things are going so far, expecting sponsor's interview by Feb-March next year...

I think it would be also easy if your relative will courier your LOA through DHL their service is good, it takes only 3-5 days, when I submit my documents to my uncle in Canada from Saudi Arabia it took only 2-3 days and he received the documents already, same situation also to my mother they sent my other documents to my uncle in Manitoba from The Philippines and it took the same days also.

Hope this help.. :-)

Hello, welcome to the group :)

To complete your timeline, please answer the missing information:
1. Under what stream you applied in?
2. Did you mail your application or your sponsor submitted it personally to MPNP Office?
3. Did they ask you for addtnl docs when you receive the AOR? If yes, what are those and when did you submit it?
1. I applied under General Stream
2. I mailed it to them.
3. No additional documents asked till now..

Hello :) I sent you PM.

About the mailing address, Emperor's post is exactly what I mean.

It will absolutely be faster for you to receive it in UK than in my country, Philippines.

Thanks for answering my previous queries, I do have an addtional question and I hope I can have the answer here. My partner (common law) will apply for MPNP under general stream with me as her accompanying dependent. I have relatives in Vancouver (uncle and aunt), my question is, will our apllication be affected or possibly be denied since I have relatives in BC? although she's the primary applicant and I'm just an accompanying dependent?
