Hello guys,

I'm currently planning to move to Quebec in some months. I am working for a U.S. company 100% remotely. I was wondering if it is just as easy as Applying for my CSQ, getting accepted, then applying for PR. I understand having to pay both American and Canadian taxes.

Thanks!

Are you planning on working remotely before you receive PR? If so your employer can't have a Canadian branch or have Canadian clients.

Under what stream do you qualify for PR?

I’m applying for my CSQ as a skilled worker... is that a good option or is there something simpler? I haven’t started it yet.

There is no simple option to immigrate to Canada. Have you actually determined if you qualify or not?

I am already working. How would I get around this problem?

Don't move until you get PR. Assume you have a visa to work in the US. Otherwise you will have to create your own business in Canada and work as a consultant. Not an immigration lawyer so you need to check with one but hat is my understanding.
