I submitted my CEC application in July – currently working in Toronto and have since been offered my dream job in Quebec.

My intention when I applied was to stay in Toronto indefinitely, but the offer is too good to refuse. Ideally, I would want to wait until after COPR to make the move, but IRCC seem to be VERY slow in processing CEC applications and I'm worried I'll miss the opportunity.

If I keep my address in Toronto (address of family friends) and land in Ontario, would I encounter issues in this application or future renewals/citizenship applications?

You realize you are asking if you can commit fraud by not informing IRCC of a move that disqualifies you from CEC?
