I currently have a valid visitor visa to Canada, which I initially obtained to attend my brother’s graduation last year. I am now applying for a study permit to study in Canada. I understand that students can only enter Canada up to one month before the official start date of their program. However, since I already have a valid visitor visa, am I allowed to enter Canada earlier than the one-month period?

There is no strict 1 month rule but you need to be able to justify why you are wanting to enter Canada earlier. Has your study permit been approved? Your TRV may have also been cancelled since many have been reassessed.
