Hi!

I'm a software engineer. I'm planning to start a small tech company focused on the web here in Brazil (i'm brazilian), and get it to the point of R$1.000.000,00 (USD$500.000,00) in anual revenue. Then, i would like to move to Canada, open an office in Toronto, create at least 2 tech jobs and run my business from there, being a canadian resident. The company would still be incorporated in Brazil.

Since a web company of such small proportions can be run from your kitchen if you want, it's really not required to own offices, or any other kind of assets. This would make my networth be small when i apply for a visa, even though i would be making a very good income.

In a situation like this, moving to Canada would be possible in the first place?

Thanks in advance!

I believe that this may be your only possible route. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/business/start-up/index.asp
Any other route would require you to immigrate as a skilled worker.
