Hello,
We are looking at the prospect of moving permanently to a new province.
In the province where we currently live, we have started our Child Benefit Application. It is in progress as far as we are aware of.
We expect it will take another 2 months to get application processed.
Question is, what happens if we change province while application is in progress? do we have to start a new application all over again in the new province? will this delay the moment when we can collect child benefits?
Alternatively, if we start collecting child benefit and move to the new province afterward, will this disrupt the inflow of child benefits money? how does it work?
What would you advise?
Thanks
