No sorry, I came to Manitoba via MPNP with the same employer at first, I've been in Manitoba for 3 years. I've got the PR card few months ago so I applied first via MPNP and then got the PR.

The same employer asked me if I want to move to the Ontario's office, the Manager said since I've got my PR card, I can move to Ontario with no issue? I'm very confused sorry.

I've already got my PR card but I was sponsored at first in Manitoba via the Mpnp program. Thank you.

Did anybody get the same issue? I'll talk with my immigration consultant but she doesn't even know about all the rules and laws about immigration. The goverment is always changing everything.

I don't know maybe it's better to not risk and stay in the same province until I get my citizenship. I really want to get it. It's been a tough journey.

Looks like you have landed as a PR for over 6 months so there shouldn’t be any concern that you left right after getting PR. You are free to move if you want. Cost of living will be much higher in Ontario than most of MB.

Thanks. I've talked to an immigration consultant and said that I should ask my company to move me to the office in Ontario because I'd need the proof when applying for citizenship that I've moved to Ontario due to work related issues.

I've came to Manitoba as a work permit then applied for MPNP and got my PR after 2 years and got my Confirmation of PR document in Feb 2021 and applied for MPNP in 2019.

So I've been in Manitoba for a while and stayed here until now. It's been 9 months now since I've got my PR physical card in Feb 2021 and now it's the start of December 2021.

Do you think guys I should stay in Manitoba If I don't want to risk anything? I still think that moving to Ontario even though I have proof it would be a bad move when I'll apply for citizenship...

It's a tough decision. Thank you so much for your support.

It's not a tough decision. You can move anywhere and work for a new company.

You do not need any proof when applying for citizenship. I don't know why your immigration consultant is saying this. It simply isn't true.

You should fire the consultant who is pushing all this misinformation… you’re a permanent resident and you’re free to move anywhere in Canada, take any job you want. You don’t need to wait until you apply for citizenship..

Thanks. My consultant said since I've come to Manitoba via MPNP, my intention was to settle here even though I've changed my mind.

They may ask me for proof of all the jobs I've applied in Manitoba and if I couldn't find any then I can move to another province. It looks like there are other consultants online saying the same thing.

Thanks but it looks like there are other consultants online that are saying the same thing.

If I was selected through the MPNP then the intention was to settle in Manitoba so I have to show the proof that I couldn't find any job in Manitoba to move to another province because they may ask for proof when applying for citizenship.
