I'm an American citizen and my wife is Canadian, I've been approved for PR and I'm wanting to move my personal affects from Texas to Vancouver, Canada. I have a few questions that seem to have "kind of" been answered but not entirely. I'm only moving personal affects which basically include no furniture. I am driving a few of my items across the border but some I am planning on shipping. I've got clothes, some art supplies, tattoo machine and inks, some guitars, a punching bag, a TV, and a personal computer.
1. How have people moved their personal items? best/cheapest?
2. How did you fill out the personal affect forms for CBSA?
3. Should I disassemble my desktop?
4. do I need serial numbers of all the parts within my desktop?
5. what is "applicable" for serial numbers on items? Do I need ALL of them?
