My current employer, a well-known Canadian company, has employed me since late 2022. In November 2024, they relocated me to Saskatchewan and supported my Job Approval Letter (JAL), which allowed me to obtain a SINP nomination and subsequent PR application. I received my eCOPR in June 2025. I have been physically living and working in Saskatchewan since November 2024. Prior to that, I was living in another province and working remotely for the same employer.

Recently, there have been changes in leadership, and I am no longer satisfied with my current role and responsibilities. Most internal transfer opportunities are now located in provinces outside SK, as the company has adopted a hybrid work model.

I have applied to similar roles with other companies within SK (same industry and role), but I have not been successful so far. There are limited large companies with offices in the province. I've kept receipt of all the rejections. In addition, I will have T4 from this year, all of 2025 and late 2024 along with lease agreement.

Given this situation, I am considering moving outside the province for better job opportunities. I can remain in the province till the summer if needed while finishing up my lease.
Is it safe to move to another province from an immigration perspective? Would IRCC knock me with a PFL?

You are free to live in any province if you are PR, no issue.
I keep seeing posts about ircc going over people stating lack of intent to settle. Most of the cases seem to be coming from people who stayed less than 2 months who didnt even bother to get a job.

But im not sure if I fall under that

Don't feed your anxiety. Slavery was abolished in Canada long ago. Nobody can force you to live where you can't or don't want to. You have the same rights as any citizen, except for some exceptions and freedom of movement is not of them definitely.

There's basically zero chance anyone would consider it misrepresentation in your instance - you settled more than a year ago, stayed more than six months after you became a PR (minimum given it will take some time), you likely will be staying with the same company, can show you applied for other jobs in SK, etc.

Cases where there's an issue are quite rare as far as we can tell. And mostly cases where there was clear sign of fraud like the applicant never setting foot in the province AND providing something fake about it.

You have IMO no reason to worry.
