There is no such thing. It is a custodian agreement who would be your sister, a person who is a citizen or PR of Canada. You are not eligible. She is 3 so why send your child so young. She can wait until a teenage. Which AAIP stream?Maybe the terminology is different. It may be called a custodian visa. And the school in question needs to approve it, is all I hear.
I will check directly with private schools on this. Making sister a legal guardian is an idea we are pondering on. Also- Looking into AAIP entrepreneurial programs.
Thanks for the response.
So you are living in Canada then on PGWP for Graduate Entrepreneur or you mean Foreign Graduate stream? All the best.Right. Thanks for the information. Graduate Entrepreneur or Rural Entrepreneur program. I am in the tech sector.
No. I meant Foreign Graduate stream. So you are living in Canada then on PGWP for Graduate Entrepreneur or you mean Foreign Graduate stream? All the best.
So PR is your only route if you want her to live in Canada. No, Definitely not sending the child to a guardian at this age! That's not the topic here.
The idea was - Is there a way for one parent and the child to move to Canada, and get the child accustomed to her country's way of life.
Since Iam a migrant kid in the gulf, I do not have attachments to any/all of the countries that I have spent my formative years in(and strongly vice versa; it has been an expat existence).
We don't want the same for her. Would like her to connect to her country. We visit every year for a month or so. But that won't be enough, we feel.
Considering nothing works, then we keep trying for our PR route or other appropriate programs, and, a last resort -would be- for her to go once she is ready(16+ etc.) to be semi independent, with sister's guardianship.
Honestly, this is my query. I wouldn't know any other. We obtain jobs; work visas perhaps? So PR is your only route if you want her to live in Canada.
If you can get a LMIA and apply for a closed work permit. IT is not hiring with so many out of work so employer needs to prove no Canadian has the work experience, education and language skills to do the job. Then with LMIA you can apply for a closed work permit. Since you have a good net worth then entrepreneur may be a good path.Honestly, this is my query. I wouldn't know any other. I don't know your Express Entry score. But consider becoming fluent in French.
That's one company in a region where listings have dropped 43% since 2021. I'd imagine there's going to be an enormous rush of applicants who are in Canada already applying for what amounts to 12 or so confirmed positions and 3-4 that are "future considerations".But Electronic Arts (not sure if this is IT, although in the tech sector) is hiring:

If you were here to give birth why didn’t you apply thru a PR stream then ?Hi all.
My daughter(currently 3 years old) is a Canadian national by birth. We, parents, are Indian. I have my sister and her family residing in Canada(PR holder), as well, in Alberta.
I want my daughter to be connected to her country and citizenship from an early age. Currently - we reside in the Middle East, in well paying jobs, but the goal is to have our child grow in the country of her passport citizenship.
I have read about guardian visas that one parent can apply for and move to Canada with the minor, so that she(daughter) can live in Canada and study there, as a regular Canadian does. The other parent may even apply for a work visa, and then later- maybe some day -PR.
We already have an express entry profile, and were even selected for PNP once, but sadly didnt go through. But we haven't lost hope, as we genuinely have blood family in canada.
I am looking for some advise here if this(guardian visa) route is something eligible and worth pursuing in our situation.
I have applied for PR. And have been nominated once for PNP. And iam still applying. But that is based on my CRS, not just familial ties. Why does my post take the cake? Am I being inappropriate in any way? Please do educate me, thank you.If you were here to give birth why didn’t you apply thru a PR stream then ?
And as mentioned by the virtue of giving birth here gives you no fast track in getting PR
Assume you were a student or spouse was on a work permit
Your posting does take the cake though for this year so far
It’s early mind you , so I guarantee you’ll have competition
