Hello! as long as processing of pnp applications at CPP-O takes forever, are we allowed to come to our home-countries and wait the final decision at there? I haven't seen my fiancee over than year, this is so frustrating. I have applied through NSPNP skilled worker with job stream, - haved worked over 20 months in Canada, but after got my GCMS notes I realized that no one touched my file since Medical were done back in August 2012. I couldn't find any information which prevens applicants for PR do so (go a wait decision in home-country)

does anyone know the answer??

Of-course you are allowed as many times as you want!

Me and my husband are waiting since March, and our situation is same, I think if you can get off from work (not quit) then probably you can go home.

your fiancee can apply for an open work permit and wait with you.

Nope, We don't have 12 months of living together, which required to prove common-law, if couple don't have marriage certificate. And of course, we not gonna marry just because of papers for immigration. I wish I have applied under CEC, but they made it easier just 3 months ago...

My situation is similar with yours. I called my PNP officer two days ago. She said that I can go back to my country get married any time I want and only tell her for the record. And dont have to tell the CIC or they will delay the application at least 6 month. The reason we dont have to tell the CIC is our applications are already get there individually.
So now my question is I dont know if the passport request is coming by the time I am in my country for the wedding, what could I do? Get back asap and sent the passport?
Anyone know how long they accept the passport?
For example, If I back to my country from June to September, but the passport request is coming in July, when is the last minute I can send the passport?
