Hi Guys

I and my husband got PR and will be landing in Canada in October 1st week.
What I wanted was to take my mother along with me as I have 3yr old daughter.
We applied and my parents got refusal saying, family ties in Canada and home country, travel history.

I need your suggestions on the following:

1. what should i do now, should I go first and apply my mother visa only by giving invitation letter.
2.How I show ties, my mother do have a property in which my parents stay, she is not working, no travel history in passport.
3.Is there any chance that she will get approval on the basis of our invitation letter.
Please advise I am really worried

Your application for your parents TRV raised so many red flags in the mind if the VO that it never stood a chance of approval.
1) You as a recently approved PR should not have applied for your parents to accompany you as this raises a doubt in the VO's mind that your parents are using the TRV route to permanently move to Canada.
2) You shouldn't have applied for both your parents together. If you had only applied for your mother the fact that your father was back home would have proved to be your mother's tie to the home country.
3) I believe that somewhere in their TRV application you must have stated or may have implied that your mother would be helping you take care of your child. This is considered as work by IRCC and a violation of terms of TRV and thus a refusal.
IMO you should wait for atleast six months after you move to reapply.

Thanks for your reply.
Can I apply after two months of my landing only for my mother.
But the thing is she dont have travel history. In that case what you suggest.

Two months maybe cutting it too close to your last application. If you apply only for your mother's TRV the application stands a better chance of approval. There is not much you can do in case of travel history but if you can establish your mother's solid ties to the home country like social ties financial capacity properties in her name etc then it might just get the job done.
My parents too did not have any previous travel history but their TRV was approved and they visited Canada for my convocation this June and also many others too have been approved.
My advice a good covering letter addressing the VO's concern may just be the key to your mother's application. Good luck.

Thanks a lot for your advise. Could you please suggest on solid ties.Like my mother do have a property on her name but she is unemployed.

In the cover letter you can stress the fact that your father would stay back in your home country and thus a solid family tie. Attach the property documents that is in her name and maybe explain other social ties back home such as if she is a member of any social cultural organisation and she is an active.member etc. There is much you can do just be a little creative if you know what i mean.

At the same time I would have a plan B because getting a TRV for your mother a few months after you move is far from guaranteed.
