Hello,

I'm PR and I applied for a visitor visa (TRV) for my mother, processing time for her location is about 10 days, so far I've been waiting over 25 days. While reviewing her application to check if there is anything wrong I noticed that her DOB and place of birth information are different in her passport from what I used in my PR application:

1- PR mother DOB and POB: X town, 3-April-1949.
2- On her passport it says: Y town, 1-1-1949.

Now I asked my mother why she gave me the info in #1 she said it's the true info and that the official info are actually not accurate since back in the day people in my country registered their babies months and sometimes years after birth and they go to their local town to register and just use Jan, 1 for birth date.

Now my questions are:
1- Is this an issue for her, could be this a reason for the delay? should I send a clarification?
2- For my PR, should I inform the CIC about it? after all I provided them with the actual true information to the best of our knowledge albeit it doesn't match the official records plus it doesn't really change anything tangible (I checked online and didn't see any way to update my profile).
3- What I should do about my mother application? just wait? send an CSE? from what I know sending an email doesn't do anything.

Thanks for your help
