Hi. I submitted my application on June 8th 2017 and received AOR same date. Later, in July CIC requested further documents which were submitted same day. Now I am waiting for PPR. On contacting CIC they emailed that my application is with local visa officer in my city. Any idea how long could it take?

Nobody can tell for sure how long it could take. it could days or months. You can try contacting your LVO and see if they give a hint on what is happening with your file or order GCMS notes.

use/search the forum, there are threads with plenty of information, for example:
Thanks a lot Rich :)

that thread is really useful.

Did u get ur PPR what happened Any info helps
Yes, I got my PPR on 10th July 2018 :).
Before that on 4th July 2018 CIC requested to provide the police clearance certificates for me and my wife which i provided on 9th July 2018 and on 10th July 2018 i received my PPR. God willing, we would be landing in Toronto in November 2018.

I am in an exactly similar situation as yours. My AOR is February 27, 2018 and eligibility is in review required. From what I read review required cases take 7-8 months for a Visa officer to pass it. If the visa officer is not satisfied it goes to LVO and can take even 1 year. Have you checked GCMS notes?
I too get the same reply after filling webform. that its under process. Whats your Visa Office?
