Is there certain amount to carry to Canada…

And if you want to transfer all your money from Dubai to Canada, what is the best way?

You can of course carry cash with you which should be declared with CBSA in Canada while landing if it exceeds $10,000/=. Instead of carrying a large sum, you may keep cash upto $ 10,000/- and for the rest use other methods like DD or TC which can be encashed through your account in Canada after opening an account here in Canada with any of the Bank you choose. It could be possible after getting your SIN.

What you mean is I can carry C$10,000 and the other amount I can make it in draft cheque and later on when I come to canada and open an account I can cash it in my account.
