Me and my husband currently live in the U.S.A, and filed EE under FSW for Canada. We received invitation to apply for PR. Now we have started gathering documents and need to understand what are the mistake we should avoid before submitting our documents for PR?
Previously, we received invitation for the same but they did not ask for IELTS score card in the documentation list so we did not submit it. Due to that our application got refused and we re-submitted our new application EE profile. So this is our 2nd chance to apply for PR and we do not want to make anymore mistakes.

Please Advise.

Thanks in Advance!

additionally, research before you submit. The educational documents checklist, for example, still does not mention anything about IELTS or even ECA, or the fact that you need a name affidavit if your name is spelt differently across documents.

Thanks for the information!
In name change senario, my middle name and surname have changed after my marriage. I have marriage certificate proof to justify it. Still I need affidavite for this?

thing is sometimes names vary across documents like degree certificates, passports, etc. In case you have standardised it already, then no need.

I understand.
In my birth certificate and passport, my father name end with word “Kumar”, however in my education certificates it end with “Bhai”. So do you think that will impact or do i need affidavite for this? My father name is used as a middel name in my all documents.

Can anyone help me with below query?

I am not clear with the Section showing proof of funds(settelment funds).

Below statment is showing on canada goverment site:-

For proof, you must get official letters from any banks or financial institutions where you are keeping money.

Letter(s) must list:

  • all current bank and investment accounts
  • outstanding debts such as credit card debts and loans
What i have is-
I can get official letter from my bank for my saving and checking accounts.

My question is-
Am I required to submit the same official letter from credit cards companies to show my debts?

Please Advice.

Thanks in advance!
