I sent my application PR application on March14th and got my File number on April 22nd. Does this mean that my application wont be returned back? I am asking this because after I sent my application I found out that I made some minor mistakes in my application. So, after reading few articles about it I found out that CIC sends those forms back asking to correct them. So, I was wondering if that happens after receiving file number or before? In other words, is there still a chance that even after getting a file number my PR application could be returned because of the minor mistakes I made?

Send them your concerns through the CSE (Case Specific Enquiry) and they will respond back with a probable re-upload of your new document.

Its better to do this rather than waiting for CIC to send your documents back as you will be saving a lot of time.

I still have to send them my PCC. SO should I not wait for the officer to ask me for the documents?

I think you should inform them about your mistake situation before, as they will ask you to send them your updated mistake-free document.

When you send you updated document, you can also include your PCC with it.

guy u are mixing 2 tins up here, file number is for pronvinvcial nomination, AOR is for CIC so which 1 did u do, is it provincail nomination, or u sent ur application forms to CIC, provicial nomination dont send anytin back, its online, which 1 did u apply for, which pronvice

You have passed R10 so it will not be returned. It will either be Rejected or Approved.

Send CSE and make that correction. It's better to tell them upfront than being questioned when they found out.

if hes referring to filing a PR application, it is definitely not his PNP application. I think its clear and obvious that he should send his query through CSE as he has his Application/File number before they review his application and deny going further with it.

Hi Guys,

I am talking about my PR application which was a paper application. I got an email from CIC saying that this is my application number and my application has been received. In order to help you understand the situation better I would want to tell the mistakes I made. I forgot to write my name in native language and wrote N/A where it mentioned in the application i should write None. Now I talked to Cic agents and they said I should wait for the officer. Now I am afraid a little. So i was wondering what should i do. Also i wanted to know if there is any chance that my application will be returned.. because i would not want that :- (
I do not want to start the process all over again after waiting for so long

ok good, wel dis a minor issue, applicants do make mistakes very well in CIC forms, u just relax, i dont tink CIC will send it back, i dont tink so, its signature or incomplete forms, or blunt and fade photocopies, those are the applications CIC do return, but ok u can also folow what raman13s said, raman, pls try and give him the link to that CSE,

Writing your name is Native language is optional.

Its not mandatory to have a native name and am sure for them to send you the AOR, they would have checked properly that no mistake was made.

Thanks Guys for the help. Really Appreciate it! I will wait for Cic officer to ask for my Police Certificate and if they will mention that they need native names i will send them. Till then I will wait and relax.
