Mistake on my Visa Application intend to travel date and return date.

I applied for a Canadian Visitor visa to work without permit under global skill strategy 120days visa, my application is submitted.
By mistake I selected my duration of stay to be between 25th July to 20th Oct (which is 89days). I was not aware of that I can get a full 120days visa to stay in Canada.

I am going Canada for my research internship at Athabasca, Right now I want my visa duration to be 120 days,
My biometric is tomorrow, 9th march,
I am clueless what to do,

Please guide.

Few people told me I can get extension after reaching Canada, I am not sure about it.

Raise a webform. It may not change outcome as 120 days is the maximum. Didn’t know Athabasca had an actual, physical campus as it is known as only an online university.

How to raise a web form? I found a form in the portal, I filled that, can I get a extension in case, if my current request doesn't get approved.?

Don't know the link but you can Google - webform IRCC. If your letter states the time period of 120 days then you should be okay. CBSA will determine your length of stay when you enter. Is this a paid position? Assume you are showing funds that you can afford to live in Canada for 120 days.
