Hello,
Is it true that, if a Mississauga CIC applicant requires fingerprints, the application is transferred to St. Clair CIC for that (i.e. Mississauga CIC does not ask directly for fingerprints to be sent to RCMP)? After St. Clair CIC receives the fingerprints report from RCMP, the file again gets transferred back to Mississauga CIC for subsequent steps (test, oath etc.)?
Thanks for your input.

Finally received the much anticipated oath letter after few hurdles on the way; review on my PR status, RQ and missed oath ceremony. Forum has been a great help! Thank you for everyone's input.

Submitted on August 2014.
Would you be able to share your experience and timelines with the RQ?

Thanks!

Sure, Application submitted August 2014, RQ received November 2014, responded December 2014 to Mississauga office, test date September 2015 (RQ was reviewed at this point-confirmed by the immigration officer), first oath date November 2015 (was on vacation when I received the letter/online status change), second oath invitation March 15th for April 5th. Hope this helps.

Did your ECAS changed for the oath invitation? or you just received the letter? Thanks!

Both times online status changed accordingly; we sent you a letter to appear...etc etc..
That's good, thanks for your reply. My status changed from "In Process" to "Decision Made" on March 8, but the eCAS hasn't updated yet and the last thing is about the citizenship test. By any chance do you know how long did it take from DM to update the eCAS?

Did you patiently wait for your oath (almost a year) or had some back and forth with CIC ?

I guess the reason it took so long was that they asked me to send them the translation of my passport (on the interview day after I passed the test) because the dates were not in English.

Around when did they receive the translation? What was the time diff between them receiving the translation and your DM?

They received the translation 4 days after the test and interview. So it took about 10 months to DM.
