Had my Oath ceremony yesterday in Mississauga.. Felt very emotional towards the National Anthem singing.. Feels good to be a Canadian and finally be able to sing the anthem as one. Good luck to all

i had my citizenship test on Dec 3rd, Decision Made very next day, and i got my oath letter on 14th Dec to appear for oath on 24th at 9am in mississauga.

No, my Ecas is not updated yet, and the funny part is i cant even see if there is any oath on 24th in mississauga, did some one received oath for 24th in mississauga???

Hi Guys,

After about a year of submitting my Citizenship application (Nov 24, 2014), I got my invite for the exams. Honestly - I was loosing my patience already and I stopped checking on the e-cas. But last night, I was so so surprised and got my invite for the exam on January 8, 2016.

BTW, I checked my e-cas status and found out that it has not been updated.

Congrats !!!, Its quite fast processing. I guess in past too, CIC Mississauga was relatively fast in processing. I guess the most lethargic is the Scarborough location, either they have lot of work load or they are least concerned.....Smiles !!!

My oath invite says 1230 but the only ceremony listed for he 6th is at 1:15. Any ideas why?

Good for your! We have the same test date but mine has not even changed to DM. Although the officer has already informed me Oath is to be scheduled next year.
