Whoaa! I am sorry to hear that you had to do so many follow-ups. Nevertheless, let bygone be bygone.

Now, when you get your passport that would be the "BEST FEELING" ever. My family and I were so excited when we got our passports, all the nail-biting that we did during the citizenship application process were all forgotten in that moment. (we were fortunate to have the process completed in 7 months).

So happy for you that it is "finally" and "officially" a close for you too!

Thanks @kadir.ayubi , I can bet that the feeling will be awesome. Even just logging in and finally seeing n printing my certificate was amazing! So I can just imagine having the passports in hand. I forgot about the 11 days of waiting on it.. anyways, Thanks again for ur support throughout the stressful journey.

one last question, does my 12 years old daughter need to be present at the passport office when I apply for our passports?

Congrats! the agent i spoke to on Friday told me to be patient and that it usually takes more that 2-5 business days. Lets see how things go this week.

No, your daughter's presence is not needed at the passport office ONLY IF you are not requesting an urgent passport service.

If you do opt for the urgent service then they will be required to be present.

I submitted the application for myself, my spouse and my daughter all by myself (on their behalf) as we didn't opt for the urgent service (my wife had to give her signed authorization).

I just received an email this morning that my certificate was issued. It took them 2 weeks!

Not sure if it helped - Yesterday I sent another follow up email asking about my certificate, i included a scanned copy of my cut PR and the 2 IDs that I showed the agent in the breakout room on the day of my oath (they did not ask for this, i just thought it would help whoever opens my file release or finalize the process).

Hi @SunshineJA , @hossamo33 I had my virtual oath on Friday Nov 3rd with mississauga office. I sent the signed oath form immediately, however I have not received any acknowledgement or an auto-reply email, is that normal? Also I never received email on instructions to download e-certificate before my oath. I only received that email after oath. But that instructions pdf doesn't have an invite code and agent who interviewed me told me I should receive a specific code in order to download e-certificate. Do I need to expect another email for the code? Pls advise. TIA.

I received an auto-reply email. Don’t think it matters though. You can get the code yourself. Create an account on the IRCC portal, just make sure you use the same email you used on your citizenship application. Then, you just gotta wait.

@hossamo33 I tried that path of getting code by myself and created portal account. Usually how long does mississauga office take to upload certificate for us? Also when the certificate is ready, does our tracker account change status from in progress to completed?
