Mississauga Citizenship Applicants

I call IRCC today morning, I get same answer BACKGROUND CHECK is going on & my processing center is Mississauga and agent have no idea when I will get test invitation. If one year over processing time over, CIC will send me advice. But so far according to call agent everything is looking fine, also officer ask me about my old number of Quebec. I told him to remove it because it is not in my use since two years.

Did anyone from Mississauga receive anything in the last few weeks? Is it just me or does it seem Mississauga didn't process that many people? If this is the pace during the Summer then we might as well forget about it and resume in September!

Mississauga seems to be still processing pre C6 applications, someone i know wrote exam on May 9th, Oath on June 4. It was pre C6 application from Sep 17.

What I have guessed from the views of applicants from (old and new ) . That who are waiting from long time for their decision to be made ( whatever IP to TI or DM to OC) . Action will be taken ,when only 3 to 4 months , will be left from their 12 months application process time. For example :- who submitted their application in October 2017 , do not expect anything untill August 2018. Good luck.

You're true, Two of people i know who submitted before C6, got Oath today. They were from September 17. I hope Sauga will open C6 files now.

3 people I know (a couple, and a single applicant) post C6 from Mississauga had their oath ceremonies end of May.

Our applications are only a couple of weeks apart in Nov 2017, went in process also about 3ish weeks apart. Now I have been in process since since mid-February but they’ve done their oaths. I don’t understand this Mississauga office!

They had a great caseworker and you and I dont! Theres no other way to describe it.

Got the mail today for citizenship test invitation. Letter sent May 30, Test date: Jun 19, Mississauga office.
